At first sight this life seems ideal
But loneliness is a big deal

At weekends friends have family ties
Most lives are hectic – no surprise
Such is the pace of life today
Dear friends move on or pass away...
Phones help us to communicate
Poor substitute for loving mate
Precious links are great - but rare
Deep down we all just want to share ...
