COVID times – lost and loose strands

happenings curtailed

and men'* once more disrailed...
Although
we like to plan ahead
Spontaneity's
not dead;

girlfriend cannot make her date
An
empty weekend looms – not great ...
Weighed
down with shopping, all alone
A
kind soul offers car lift home.
A
bonus in these troubled times
Warm
inspiration for my rhymes!
A
Facebook invite comes my way
Concert
and eats on Saturday?
Out
of the blue – so I accept!
Long
live friends – and Internet!
