This weary traveller gets more creased
The jumbo plane lands in Bahrain
Its wings are empty - "oil's" the game.
And we are herded like lost sheep
To Duty Free - devoid of sleep.
Swatch watches, perfumes, Arab smiles
But few are ensnared by their wiles.
Instead we leave at half past two
And sandy kingdoms fade from view.
A cockpit tour helps pass the time
Between in-flight meals served with wine!
