Every State boasts
media hype,
What will
convince, come voting night?
Top candidates
clock up air miles
To greet Oz punters
with sharp smiles!
Will voters opt
for status quo
Or will the Liberals
have to go?
“Time for
change, we have new plans.
The economy needs
Labor’s hands!”
Can independents
now break through?
The Greens push
climate change anew…
With age and
child care costs too high
Many now can
scarce get by …
Housing and wages
should increase
And should
coal mining projects cease?
The jury’s out –
we lie in wait
For this
evening’s fierce debate!
