Into the big wide world and rides
Albeit closely held by Pa
Propped up against the handlebar
Upon a streamlined racing bike
Impressive for a tiny mite!
He cannot reach the pedals yet
But otherwise his gaze is set
Firmly on the road ahead
Perched up high on tyred tread
Inside his head the wheels are turning
As Thomas masters cycle learning!
